The two rugbyfields also serve as playgrounds, netballfields, hockey- and a cricket pitch. In the beginning of the year during the athletic season a track for races is created by using the perimeter of the above grounds.

Our motto is "Leer en dien" - meaning learn and serve. Laerskool Frikkie Meyer is one of 12 primary (x-ted) school in Vanderbijlpark. It is the second oldest school in town. It was established in  28 Julie 1953

Schoolbus

Some of the children use the schoolbus to go to school. Most children live in the feeding area of the school. Then of course, the lucky one's have their parents to drop then off in motorvehicles.
